This the prestigious and competitive Preparing Future Faculty Scholar Award was earned this year by a Muhammad Sana Ullah, a Ph.D. student electrical computer engineering and presented to him at the Community of Scholars Award ceremony on April 23, 2015. Muhammad is a member in the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Student Council. This summer he has an internship at Microwave Packaging Technology, Inc. and also plans to continue with his research. The Preparing Future Faculty Program at UMKC provides the structure for doctoral students or students with terminal graduate degrees in their fields to augment their qualifications with a graduate certificate in College Teaching and Career Preparation. Muhammad’s advisor is Dr. Masud Chowdhury.
